Celebrating Creativity in Mental Health, Wellness, and Recovery Art Show
November 06 - January 29
In person gallery hours are paused due to current COVID-19 restrictions.
The Clara Martin Center celebrates their fifth annual art show Celebrating Creativity in Mental Health, Wellness, and Recovery Art Show with this year’s theme, the importance of art during this global pandemic. Over twenty local artists and writers share their diverse mediums and inspired reflections. Through this exhibition mental health and creative expression are celebrated as an essential part of overall well being. All are encouraged to visit the exhibition in person at the White River Craft Center and explore the online gallery. This show is a community partnership between the Clara Martin Center and the White River Craft Center.
About the Annual Celebrating Creativity in Mental Health, Wellness, and Recovery Art Show:
This annual exhibition began when the Clara Martin Center was celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016 with the idea of supporting mental health and challenging the stigma surrounding it. This sparked the Clara Martin Center to host the Me-2 Orchestra and the first Celebrating Creativity Art and Poetry Show. Clara Martin Center is a local non-profit organization, providing mental health and substance abuse services to Orange County and greater Upper Valley communities.
