The Day of the Dead is a beautiful Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st, honoring loved ones who have passed. This year, from October 25th -November 1st, The White River Craft Center will feature a traditional Mexican Day of the Dead Altar in honor of those we've lost from COVID-19. The Altar will be installed on the lawn of the White River Craft Center for all to view and contribute artwork or written thoughts if so moved. We also encourage community participation by creating an altar at home and sharing photos with us! This program is a collaboration between the WRCC and community partners Deycy Diaz and Susan Mills.
