About Upper Valley Services (UVS):
Upper Valley Services was organized as a non-profit organization in 1986 by a group of parents and advocates who felt strongly that support for people with developmental disabilities should be provided by an organization dedicated to this purpose. Since that time, UVS has expanded its programs to include community based residential services for Vermonters who would otherwise qualify for nursing home level of care, through our Vermont Comforts of Home program.
UVS Mission: To provide lifetime community-based support for individuals with developmental disabilities and adults who qualify for a nursing home level of care by offering a comprehensive range of person-centered services tailored to each individual’s needs, values and choices so that they may live their best lives.
Upper Valley Services is currently designated by the State of Vermont to provide services and support for people with Developmental Disabilities in Orange County, through our Randolph and Bradford Programs. Upper Valley Services also serves people from other areas of Vermont such as Washington County through our Moretown Program. Additionally, UVS supports vulnerable and elder Vermonters through our Vermont Comforts of Home program based in Essex Junction.
